The Humming Songs
Mummy, mummy, daddy, daddy..don’t hurt me,
With trembling voice, she pleads and begs for peace,
Her little heart shattered, her soul in debris,
Trembling with fear, she prays for sweet release.
But hark! A gentle tune, a humming song,
Brings solace to her broken heart and soul,
A lullaby that’s been hummed all along,
That heals her wounds and makes her spirit whole.
The humming songs, a metaphor so true,
For healing is a gentle, soothing balm,
That mends the broken, makes them feel anew,
And wraps them in a loving, warm embrace so calm.
So, mummy, mummy, daddy, daddy, hear her plea,
Hum the healing songs that set her spirit free.
This song has been bothering me for I don’t know how long. I hope it brings some relief.
