The dreary midnight story Poem
Once upon a midnight dreary,
As I pondered, weak and weary,
Over numerous a quaint and curious
Volume of forgotten lore,
Suddenly there came a tapping,
As of someone gently rapping,
Rapping at my window.
“‘Tis some visitor,” I muttered,
“Tapping at my window —
Only this and nothing more.”
But as I opened wide the door,
Lo and behold, what did I see?
A white Raven, pure and bright,
Her feathers gleaming like snow.
Her eyes shone bright as stars,
And her heart beat with a fierce strength,
A symbol of hope and love,
A guiding light in the dark.
Her song was like a symphony,
A melody of grace and beauty,
As she soared through the sky,
Leaving all in her wake.
So let the heart of white Raven
Inspire you to be true,
To spread your wings and fly,
And follow your dreams through.
