The Garden of Love
She was a rose, once vibrant and alive,
But years of storms had taken their toll, leaving her dry,
He came along, a gardener with gentle hands,
And tended to her wounds, helping her stand.
She was a bird, with broken wings,
Trapped in a cage, unable to sing,
He saw her plight and set her free,
And with his love, she soared so beautifully.
She was a diamond, buried deep in the earth,
But with his love, she sparkled and gained worth,
He knew her value, and brought her to light,
And in his arms, she shone so bright.
She was a river, lost and alone,
But with his guidance, she found her way home,
He knew her depths and helped her flow,
And in his love, she found her true glow.
She was surprised for what he learned about her past and struggle,
But with his love, she finally found peace and a renewed sense of purpose,
She was forever grateful for the man who helped her to find the beauty within herself.
