Exploring the beauty and comfort of the natural world poem
The trees stand tall and strong,
Laid her on these crystalline delight;
A music of silence and of song,
With eagle eye, through the balmy night!
Pale in each purple violet again —
A burst of color in the grass.
Hold her golden throne in upright ben —
The happy flowers will o’er him pass.
The ocean waves crash and roar,
Light as a spell of the voice of night —
The violate with young hopes of yore,
Hold her out with a luminous light!
Nature’s beauty surrounds us all,
To sleep with the wide and quiet stars,
It offers solace in the darkest times,
Something in it, for a single star!
