She stood at the crossroads, unsure of which way to go,
Her heart was heavy, her mind in a slow,
She felt so conflicted, torn between two paths,
One led to safety, the other to wrath.

One road promised comfort, a life of ease,
But the other held adventure, a chance to please,
Her restless spirit, to live and to grow,
But the decision was not easy, she didn’t know.

Which one to choose, which one was right,
Her heart was racing, her head full of fight,
She thought of the risks, the unknowns ahead,
But also the possibilities, the chances to be fed.

With new experiences, with love and with growth,
But the fear of failure, the fear of the unknown.

Hovered over her, like a dark cloud,
She felt so conflicted, she felt so loud.

But then she took a deep breath and looked up high,
And knew that whatever path she chose, she would try,
To make the most of it, to live and to learn,
And with that decision, her heart began to burn.

With determination, with courage and hope,
She stepped forward and began to cope,
With the uncertainty, with the unknown,
And knew that wherever she went, she would be shown.

A way to live, a way to grow,
And so she took the road less traveled, and let her spirit flow.
